Men’s Club

The Men’s Club has not been meeting in person for the past 18 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We plan to get back to regular monthly gatherings which can include stimulating speakers, activities, and events such as walks along a local hiking trail, single malt scotch, beer or wine tasting, interesting meals together, golf to prepare for our annual golf tournament fundraiser, and card, Poker, or board games.

The intention is to encourage men in the community to participate, get to know each other better, and support the Jewish Community. The Men’s Club is open to the entire congregation and local community.

With the Remicks as our guide, we have continued to host the Fifth Friday Shabbat Film with some very entertaining and interesting movie selections.

Speakers and events are scheduled on Sundays, evenings, and when the events can be available for attendees.

The activities will be listed in the weekly and monthly announcements, and on the NCJCC website. Our annual dues are still only $20. When we meet on Sunday mornings, we serve lox and bagels, coffee, and orange juice for a small $5.00 donation (such a good deal your mother would be proud). When you bring in a new dues paying member, you receive Bagels and Lox on us that day. We appreciate your interest and support of our activities and look forward to seeing you.

Please contact Gordon Mann at sharkmann@suddenlink.net or 650-740-3461 for more information, to suggest an interesting speaker, or to schedule an event.
